Stormwater is simply rainwater that runs off hard surfaces like roofs and roads, which is carried away by drains that flow into local waterways. By capturing, treating and reusing it for things like watering gardens, washing machines and flushing toilets, we tap into a natural and sustainable water source.
Managing stormwater is costly for most local councils and authorities. Altogether is working with government and developers to better manage stormwater within new communities, to extract the best value from this resource and ensure that stormwater is not left behind in the Integrated Water Cycle Management (IWCM) of the community.
