Outbound Sales Consultant

We are Seeking

Altogether is looking for an Outbound Sales Executive on a full time, 12-month fixed term contract with scope to extend to permanent. This role is critical to Altogether’s future business plans. You will be responsible for contacting prospective clients via outbound digital contact or phone calls to generate interest in Altogether’s products and set client appointments for our Senior Energy Consultants.

Alongside the Senior Energy Consultants, this role will increase the deployment of Altogether’s solutions and service, which deliver improved consumer choice and better consumer protections by investing in “power of choice” compatible infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work on a prospective client list, initially researching the needs of clients using publicly available information to determine the suitability of our product;
  • Contact prospective clients with the aim of securing appointments (face to face, video call or phone, face to face preferred) for our Senior Energy Consultants;
  • Set appointments using a group calendar while having regard to the Senior Energy Consultants availability and travel times; and
  • Focus on prospective clients in South East Queensland, and on occasion, New South Wales, based on the prospective client lists provided.

Skills & Experience

  • Direct customer Call Centre sales experience in a service;
  • Demonstrated success in delivering against targets;
  • Experience in a compliance-driven, consumer-centric environment;
  • High level understanding of strata committees and their function in residential and mixed-use buildings;
  • Clear, concise verbal and written communication skills;
  • Strong skills in troubleshooting, problem-solving, and conflict resolution; and
  • Highly developed administrational skills, including ability to manage customer records within a customer relationship management system.
