Community Engagement Coordinator (NSW)

We are seeking

Altogether is looking for a part time Community Engagement Coordinator to be our hands on conduit between us and our customers. You’ll do this through onsite relationship building at local community events, by seeking out and taking opportunities to facilitate tours of our facilities, through staying connected on a variety of social media platforms and facilitating virtual events.

Through maintaining contact with our communities via social media platforms you’ll be able to respond to their queries, allay their concerns and bring back to the business the trends that you’re seeing with our customers and clients. Altogether is dedicated to engaging with our communities that we service, and we need your help to do that, we’ll bring the solutions, you bring the connection.

Core Responsibilities

  • Customer communications via various channels including letter box drops and social media
  • Facilitate research and escalate community feedback that directly impacts operational and customer service-related improvements
  • Assist and develop water education strategy including the facilitation of CEDP Schools Program
  • Implement the events program, including plan, organise, advertise, set up, conduct, pack down, record and report on each event including facility open days (physical and/or virtual) and developer/body corporate driven community events
  • Drive local business alliance to profile Altogether as an active community member
  • Engage proactively and reactively on private and public community Facebook pages

Skills & Experience

Customer service skills are a must in this role and your adeptness to communicate verbally and in writing is paramount. If you have the discipline to set your own agenda, fulfilling your three days’ work anytime throughout a week that suits you and the communities, we’ll support you.

We’ll value previous experience in utilities or a development background as well as social policy.

Please note the successful applicant for this position will need to be able to travel to all our sites so you’ll need to have a licence and car and show evidence of full Covid-19 vaccination.
